Do you know regular scanning and repair with an antivirus software can keep your computer Trojan free?

Trojan viruses have evolved as one of the biggest threats to computer security. No matter who you are, a home user or business professional, Trojans can create great problems to you and your system. Regular Internet users are more prone of getting affected by such viruses than others. Once a Trojan virus is installed on your system, a hacker can easily access your files and documents. These infections allow unauthorized users to monitor your activities and operations without coming into your notice. But the good news is that you can save yourself and your computer from such threats with the help of a compatible and genuine antivirus software.

Let us find out more about popular antivirus software and how they work and other ways to keep your system Trojan free.

How Trojan scanner works?

An antivirus or Trojan scanner software uses a predefined set of program codes to analyze data, files, applications, etc. on a computer. The software is equipped to identify a virus depending upon a dictionary of known viruses. And if a piece of code in a particular file matches with any already identified virus, then the antivirus software deletes that file or quarantine it. Some antivirus software also works on the principle of suspicious behavior which provide protection against latest Trojan viruses.

Using a genuine antivirus software for system repair

There are various companies in the market today that offer advanced Trojan scanning and antivirus software products. But it is recommended to check the source and authenticity before you actually go download an antivirus software on your computer. Some popular antivirus software for effective Trojan scanning and removal are: Norton™ AntiVirus, AVG Anti-Virus and Kaspersky® Anti-Virus. A genuine antivirus software can give you a complete peace of mind ensuring you that no malicious program can enter your computer without your knowledge and consent.

Other measures to keep your system free from Trojan infections

Software providers regularly update their antivirus products with new features and capabilities to guard against latest threats. Therefore, it is recommended that you should update your antivirus software on a regular basis. Properly scanning removal devices and CDs and DVDs before running them on the computer is also very crucial.

Can I run more than one anti-virus program?

So, when my computer kept freezing up on me and crashing and doing some of the strangest things like deactivating an active window I was working in and giving me a DLL error on start up, I thought I had a virus or some serious spyware on my computer.

I used my up-to-date anti virus software, which also detects spyware and did scan after scan finding nothing! My computer was still messed up though, so I knew there was something wrong with it.

What options are there? Take it to the Geek Squad? Some computer repair place? How much would that cost? Lots! I know that much!

So I went on a search mission, just putting the different problems that I was experiencing with my PC, into the address bar of the internet, and after plenty of searching, I did finally find some answers!

Those answers were registry problems. I had never heard of a Windows Registry until then. Come to find out, most people haven't. So if you're like me, breathe a little easier, as I did! A Windows Registry is that place in your computer that stores all that useless information. I always knew that there was an area somewhere that did that, but I never knew a whole lot about it!

So now I knew that a Windows Registry existed! Now, get this, IT was what was causing a majority of my problems... The slow start up and shut down time, the overall slow performance of my PC, the DLL error upon start up, the graphics not appearing on web sites, everything! I couldn't believe it!

I found out that there was essentially no action that could be performed on my computer without the Windows Registry saying it could happen, how to carry it out and how much time it would take to do so. Also, there were some programs from time to time which I would attempt to install and failed and my Windows Registry held onto that information and errors were created due to that too. To make matters even worse, I downloaded a bunch of music onto my computer and that was a MAJOR issue with my registry.

So how did I find all this out? Well, after searching for a long time, I came across Registry Cleaners. I found used a couple of their free scans and found that I had more than 600 errors on my computer! I couldn't get all those errors fixed for free though, but after purchasing one of the Registry Cleaners, I did get all of those errors fixed. Let me tell you... my computer is working like brand new now! I can't believe the difference!

Now, all the problems that I mentioned above, and some, were actually fixed on my computer. I didn't have to unhook my PC and carry it into some repair place or pay out the nose for a techie to pay me a visit at my house, I paid around $30 for what seemed to be a magical program that took care of absolutely all of the issues on my computer. Can you imagine what that feels like? I am completely elated!

If you are experiencing any of the problems I was and you have found no spyware or viruses, scan after scan, and are about to pull your hair out and spend a fortune on repair or heaven forbid, a new computer.... Please check out Registry Cleaners first!
